Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are ideal for refreshing and revitalising skin that looks tired, dull, feeling dry/ dehydrated and lacking in radiance. They are also highly effective in targeting specific concerns including acne, sun damage, pigmentation, fine line and wrinkles, and scarring.

At the time of treatment

  • A full medical consultation will be undertaken prior to treatment
  • Explanation of any risks and complications
  • Post treatment advice
  • Before and after treatment photographs.
  • A Bespoke facial and chemical peel applied
  • Application of a cream to soothe and calm the skin
  • Application of a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen SPF30 or above
  • Treatment time 45-60 mins


  • Receive a home recovery skincare pack to use for the following 5 days post treatment
  • Application of a cream to soothe and calm the skin at least twice a day
  • A broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen of at least SPF30 will be applied and given to use twice a day for two weeks
  • Not to apply make up for 12 hours post procedure
  • Not to cleanse face on the first evening.  After to cleanse twice a day.

Contraindications to treatment

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Currently taking or have used Roaccutane in the last 6 months
  • Cold sore on the day of treatment (can be delayed until it has resolved)
  • Allergy to aspirin
  • Open wound in the treatment are

Relative contraindications​

  • If you have received any prior aesthetic treatments in the last 14 days.  Chemical peel can be rearranged to another time.
  • Exposure to sunbathing or sun beds within the last 3 weeks
  • Application of some cream
  • Skin cancer
  • Sunburnt skin
  • Keloid/hypertrophic scaring
  • Chemotherapy or radiation
